1. AI Features in RightsReady USA
RightsReady USA uses cloud-based AI to support three educational features:
- ARIA — AI Rights & Information Assistant: answers questions about U.S. constitutional rights and police encounter concepts
- Police Encounter Simulator: generates fictional police officer responses for scenario-based training
- AURA — Authentic User Rights Assessment: generates educational debrief summaries after roleplay scenarios
These features are educational tools only. They do not provide legal advice, legal representation, complaint assessment, civil rights opinions or an attorney-client relationship.
2. AI Provider
RightsReady USA uses cloud-based AI processing through the Workshop proxy connector and the OpenAI API, including GPT-4o. When a user enters text into ARIA, AURA or the police encounter simulator, that text is transmitted through Workshop infrastructure to OpenAI for response generation. See OpenAI's privacy policy at openai.com/privacy.
3. No Chat History Stored
RightsReady USA does not store AI chat history after processing. AI prompt data is not used to create advertising profiles, is not sold, and is not shared with legal partners or advertisers.
4. AI Limitations
AI can be wrong, incomplete, outdated or inappropriate. Users should verify important information through official sources and consult a licensed attorney in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction before acting on any information.
5. User Reporting
The app includes an in-app "Report AI Response" / "Report Content" feature so users can report inaccurate, unsafe, offensive or inappropriate AI-generated content without leaving the app. Reports may be reviewed for safety, quality improvement, abuse prevention and compliance. Reports will not be used for advertising profiling or legal partner targeting.
