About RightsReady
Public-interest rights education for everyone.
What is RightsReady?
RightsReady is a public-interest rights education platform created to help people learn before they need help. The platform combines plain-English education, AI-assisted learning through ARIA, realistic scenario training, post-scenario review through AURA and official pathway guidance.
RightsReady helps people understand their rights, responsibilities, complaint pathways and legal support options before high-stress moments happen — not after they are already in one.
Our Mission
Improve rights awareness and access to justice education. RightsReady exists because people should not have to be in crisis before they understand their rights.
Our Vision
A rights education network that helps people prepare before high-stress encounters with police, law enforcement and public authorities — building legal literacy, confidence and access to appropriate support pathways.
Our Approach
- Plain-English education — rights information written for real people, not lawyers
- Source-backed information — every rights claim linked to primary legal sources
- AI-assisted learning — ARIA helps users learn their rights before pressure hits; AURA reviews scenarios for procedural concerns and complaint pathways
- Jurisdiction-aware tools — state and territory specific through SCOPE, adjusting education and pathways to the user's jurisdiction
- Privacy by design — minimal data collection, local storage where possible
- Education only — we provide information, not legal advice or representation
- Independence — not affiliated with any government entity
